Ripl Design Guide

Having a hard time picking the best design for your post? Since we add new designs weekly our Design Catalog is continually expanding. With so many options to choose from it can be challenging to find the best design to showcase your content.

Here's a quick guide to the types of designs available in the Ripl app:

COLLAGES

Collage designs are perfect to show a combination or collection of various images. Collages have limited text and short animation so that you can add lots of photos to show, rather than tell your followers about your offering.

For Ripl Pro subscribers, there's a "hack" that allows you to add more than 8 photos. This blog post will walk you through using this design in combination with still images to get more than 8 photos.

SLIDESHOWS

Slideshow designs are great if you want to tell a story or narrative because you can have different text for each slide. Each photo you add will become a new "slide." Some slideshow designs will have a cover slide for your logo or call-to-action.

We recommend keeping the text to a minimum because of the short attention spans in the social media world. Try short phrases, instead of proper sentences.

BANNERS & OVERLAYS

Banner & Overlay designs are a great way for the text to be the focal point because your text will stay persistent throughout the design.

The banner or overlay ads context to your photos. Some banner designs have transparency so your images can still peek through.

STICKER & SHAPES

Sticker & Shape designs are a fun way to quickly create a post. These designs tend to be great for quotes or a simple call-to-action.

The shapes themselves will typically animate and most have pre-set text so you can quickly promote a sale, new deal and more.

SEASONAL

Seasonal designs are a great starting point if you're looking for a specific holiday or style themed design.

You'll find designs in this category are great for all the seasons. There are fun firework designs, floating shapes and more so you can put a unique seasonal spin on your marketing.

We challenge you to use one design from each category to see just how much versatility you have with each design!
