1. Optimize your business profile

If you don't already have a business profile for your Instagram, you should create one.

  • In Instagram settings, click "switch to Business Profile" and follow the steps

A business profile is different than a regular profile. With a business profile you'll get interesting insights and data about your followers to help grow your following.

It is incredibly easy to create and customize your profile to communicate what you and your brand are all about and why you’re worth an extra look. You can even link your Instagram account to your Facebook page to create cross following.


Instagram allows you to add one URL to your bio. Your bio URL is a great way for potential customers to easily learn more about your business. Post your brand logo and a profile photo that will grab their attention. Include information about what you offer and what makes your business unique.

2. Take advantage of Instagram’s Business Insights Feature

Once you’ve added a business profile you have access to the Instagram “Insights” feature which gives you more information to learn more about your followers and the people interacting with your business. This feature tells you the time and day of the week you get the most engagements. It shows you when your followers are most active on Instagram, therefore the best time to post.


3. Schedule your posts

Scheduling posts can make posting a success. Social media accounts need to be maintained and frequently updated in order to stay in the minds of your customers.
