Save time and increase brand recognition!
The Ripl creation process just got simpler and quicker. We're excited to announce that you can now set up default business colors and fonts with Ripl Pro. This mean every time you create a new post the design will default to your selected business colors and fonts! Plus, you can upload your own custom fonts if your desired fonts are not currently available in the Ripl Font Library. Consistent presentation of your brand will increase recognition, revenue, and conversion rates.
1. Setting Brand Colors
Using consistent colors in your marketing can increase brand recognition by up to 80% according to a study performed by the University of Loyola. To set your brand colors in Ripl, tap the Ripl menu in the upper left corner of the home screen, then "Business Profile Settings." Tap the "+" button under "colors" to select a primary and secondary brand color. After they're saved, designs in the "Customize" step will default to your selected colors.
If you don't have a logo or brand colors already selected, consider them carefully. Make sure the colors you choose for your business stand apart from your competitors, so your audience will know it's your unique business they're looking at. 2. Setting Brand Fonts
Using consistent fonts for your business yields higher brand recognition and response. Plus, you'll save time creating posts because Ripl designs will autoload with your brand fonts. To select brand fonts, go to Business Profile Settings in the main menu then tap the "+" button under Fonts to select your primary and secondary fonts.
As with brand colors, you should give brand fonts careful consideration. The fonts that you choose will say a lot about what your business is about and what you offer your customers, so make it a conscious choice. For more information about choosing brand fonts, read this article.
3. Uploading Custom Fonts
If selecting and saving two fonts from the Ripl font library isn't delivering the "uniqueness" you want for your business, you might want to upload a new font to your Ripl Business Profile. We currently support opentype (.OTF) and truetype (.TTF). Also, we assume that you have read and understand all usage rights to any fonts you choose to upload to Ripl. If you use the Ripl app on more than one device, you'll need to upload your own font file to your Business Profile on each device as the file is stored on your phone.
To upload your own font, tap the Ripl menu, then "Business Profile Settings" and the "+" button under "Fonts" then "add your own font" from Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive. After they're saved, you'll see that fonts in the designs automatically default to your new, custom fonts.
Make sure to update the Ripl app to access these new features! Visit the App Store for iPhones or Google Play for Android devices and click "Update". You can access the Business Profile settings in the menu at the top left corner of the app.
