Continuing to learn and connect with other members of our industry is important to helping make improvements to Ripl for our customers. This Spring several of our team members attended industry conferences to help us learn about improvement and growth opportunities. Read below to hear who went where and what we learned.
F8 Facebook Conference
CEO, Paul Ingalls
In May, Ripl’s founder and CEO Paul attended the Facebook F8 Developer conference. F8 is an opportunity for businesses to learn and discover as Facebook showcases new tools and developments in the industry. Paul was invited and attended sessions about Facebook Platforms, interact with Facebook products and experts including Mark Zuckerberg and Sheryl Sandberg, and enjoy networking opportunities with other industry professionals. As a Facebook Marketing Partner, Paul was able to learn about upcoming developments and integrations at Facebook that will help us improve Ripl for our users.
COO, Clay McDaniel
Clay, our COO, leads our efforts to identify additional small business integration opportunities for the Ripl service to help our customers get even more value out of Ripl. You may know that in addition to our social network integrations (e.g., Facebook and Instagram), we have several other integrations (e.g., Dropbox and Flickr in the Photo picker).
We regularly ask our customers which other tools they love and use for their business. Clay was able to make connections with many of these services at the Saas Connect Conference. His focus in attending the conference was to connect with other providers and to find beneficial partnerships between software platforms. Clay returned from SaaS Connect with a variety of new relationships with other small business software companies and with a deeper understanding of how to make integrations turn into a "1+1=3" situation for shared small business customers.
Mobile Apps Unlocked
Performance Marketing Manager, Molly Sarvary
In April, Molly attended the Mobile Apps Unlocked Conference which is the largest annual gathering of mobile professions. Over 100 vendors and more than 100 featured speakers, from all categories of mobile apps, gathered in Las Vegas to share what they’ve learned over the past year about mobile technology, marketing and other topics. Molly discovered some interesting tips and strategies for our Marketing team to try, as well as suggestions on how to improve your in-app experience. She also attended a Women in Mobile Luncheon where she was able to connect with prominent women making their mark on mobile app growth.
We will keep you updated in the months ahead as we continue to forge relationships, integrate new software and upgrade the Ripl in-app experience for you!
